Bespoke Development
Thanks to our being part of the 'Tekla Partners program' we have the tools and abilities to produce bespoke tools just for you. As of March 2023 we are the ONLY UK based Tekla Partner.
Examples might include bespoke lintel or wind post calculations as well as interactive load span tables for floor joists or helping hand bracket spacings.
We have produced ‘window plate’, Z spacer and helping hand carrier system calculations and load span tables for manufacturers as well as bespoke versions of our Light Gauge Steel Add In for multiple manufacturers.
One example of our bespoke work might be the combining of various calculations together into one quick and simple user experience in the form of a 'One Form Module Design'.
This same one form design, as well as totalling the weight of the project also exports the data to Excel for any 3D Cad / BIM package to pick up. One company who have run with this is Trimbleand they have developed tools such that they can import the data from Excel, with one click.
Their software then draws / models the module using the Tekla Structures framing plug in and produces panel drawings, csv data and and can actually manfacture the panels.
Link this to Trimble Connect or Trimble Coonect (AR) and you have an interactive 3D model that any user can see on any web enabled device with a web browser. Using the 'AR' (Augmented Reality) version you can overlay in real time on site!
