We have, with the help of Trimbles Tedds development team, now been able to include the ‘switch’ for ‘Terrain Category’ so that the form behind the ‘Terrain’ button is pre populated with the correct location – Town or Country.  

 

IF ‘Town’ the calculation already pre populated the distance inside the town. Now the user can simply click through all the forms without having to note in the Excel scree and potentially adjust in Tedds. 

Finally, for our Irish clients, or those working on projects in Ireland, when the user selects Ireland and ‘EN1990’ from the intial ‘Splash screen’ the main wind loading ‘Options’ form defaults to Ireland saving the ‘frustrating’ having to update the “Basic values”, “Terrain” and “Structural Factor” again, if like me, you work your way across the form!
