After several years of trying and procrastinating we have developed a NEW Truss Type - The Fink with Raised Eaves -
See Comment at end.
This Truss Generated a FIFTY PERCENT SAVING IN THE MATERIAL REQUIRED.
🚀 **New Truss Type FINALLY ADDED** 🚀
In the ever-evolving world of construction, innovation is key to building stronger, more efficient, and sustainable structures. One such innovation making waves is the **light gauge steel ROOF TRUSS**. 🌟
🔧 **What is it?**
Light gauge steel lattice roof trusses are a modern construction solution that combines the strength and durability of steel with the flexibility and efficiency of a lattice design. These trusses are crafted from cold-formed steel, which is lightweight yet incredibly strong, making them ideal for a variety of applications - from doemstic projects to longer span commercial projects.
🏗️ **Why Choose Light Gauge Steel Roof Trusses?**
1. **Strength and Durability**: Despite their lightweight nature, these frames offer exceptional strength and can withstand significant loads and stresses.
2. **Flexibility in Design**: The lattice structure allows for creative architectural designs, providing both aesthetic appeal and structural integrity.
3. **Efficiency**: These trusses are quick to assemble, reducing construction time and labor costs due to their mechano or Legoesque assembly techniques due to the pre engineered design. They also offer excellent material optimization, minimizing waste.
4. **Sustainability**: Steel is a recyclable material, making these frames an eco-friendly choice for modern construction projects.
🌍 **Applications**
From commercial buildings and warehouses to residential projects, light gauge steel lattice Fink style trusses are versatile and adaptable to various construction needs.
The difference between this truss type and the 'standard Fink' Truss as generated by #Tedds is that unlike the generic Fink Truss thsis has the option of 'Raised Eaves'. This is important as in the manufacture of #LightGaugeSteel trusses it's normal to have a 'nub' / raised eave detail to facilitate the assembly and accomodate fixigngs, etc.
This new truss type will also allow us to intoduce different eave heights on both sides, numbers of Bays - #Tedds Fink Truss has options for 3 or 5 bays, and supports ONLY at the eaves. This truss, as evidenced in the screen grab above has supports in board of the eaves, but the finalised tool will have multiple options for supports and bays making the tool even more useful and user friendly.
💡 **Join the Future of Construction!**
Embrace the benefits of light gauge steel lattice portal frames and be a part of the revolution in building technology. Whether you're an architect, engineer, or construction professional, these trusses offer a smart, sustainable, and efficient solution for your next project.

UPDATE:
Following on from a period of testing our colleagues at www.mmcengineer.com have had opportunity to test the new tool out on a LIVE project and realised that this 'tweak' has generated a FIFTY PERCENT REDUCTION in Steel Use for the truss required without changing ANYTHING ELSE.
Now that's value for money!
